OPERATIONS TEAM
Each Undiscovered SF event requires complex setup and breakdown event needs. We are looking for reliable and organized Operations Associates to help us execute on our complex event vision to bring it to life and create an engaging event experience for our guests.
Operations Associates will train directly with Undiscovered Event Producer, Make it Mariko, and will have an opportunity to learn the behind the scenes work that goes along with event production.
COMPENSATION: $18 PER HOUR
JOB DUTIES
Assist with and manage complex event setup and breakdown of Undiscovered SF including but not limited to tables, chairs, signage, lighting, etc.
Take event layouts and work independently to setup according to layout maps
Assist with Vendor load-in as needed
Respect our venue partners and ensure that all event setup/breakdown is in alignment with venue rules
General customer service

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stay on your feet for multiple hours at a time
Represent UNDISCOVERED SF and SOMA Pilipinas in a positive way

AMBASSADORS (Internship)
UNDISCOVERED SF is a new creative night market showcasing Filipino-American talent from all over the Bay Area. This free monthly Music + Art + Dance + Food Festival brings together artists, dancers, DJs, performers, and local businesses to support the SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District, which aims to increase the visibility and celebrate the contributions of the Filipino community in SOMA, San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area.
The position is for enthusiastic, outgoing college students and new grads with an interest in the events industry. Ambassadors must be able to commit to working each Undiscovered SF event listed below.
This opportunity will allow ambassadors to network with various community leaders and work directly with the event production company, Make it Mariko. Ambassadors will work each Undiscovered event and gain hands-on events experience.

COMPENSATION
The program is unpaid, but is eligible for school credit. Ambassadors will receive vouchers that may be used as cash to spend at the night market.
